Comments:
A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on 12/06/2019 from 1:05 p.m. to 2:15 p.m. to review supplemental health and safety requirements.
There were 11 children present, 15 months to 4 years, for a total of 23 points, in care with the vendor and one assistant caregiver. The records sample size consisted of 6 children?s records and 5 Vendor / caregiver records. Children were observed resting quietly at nap period, listening to children's music and playing with toys. The vendor states that no medication is administered to children in care at this time and that children are not routinely transported in a vehicle. Children play outdoors in the fenced back yard with direct supervision and close proximity of the vendor. The vendor reports that there have been no accidents or injuries requiring first aid or medical treatment incurred by children in care since the last inspection. There are no children currently enrolled who have diagnosed food allergies.

A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Thank you for your time during today's inspection.
