A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on 12/12/2019 from 12:45pm to 2:00pm to review supplemental health and safety requirements.There were 11 children (29 points) supervised by 2 direct care staff. The home, 2 staff records, 6 children?s records, evacuation drills, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. There were no medications on site today. Children were observed watching television while transitioning to naptime and playing a fishing game. There was a sufficient amount of books, toys, and materials, which were found to be developmentally appropriate for the children in care at the time of inspection. A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations of the supplemental subsidy health and safety requirements were found.
