Discussed the renewal process and requirements of professional training (16 hours) prior to the expiration date on the license.

An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted between approximately 9:35am and 10:40am. 4 children (12pts) were present with 1 Provider. Ratios were in compliance. The physical space, 2 records for new students, caregiver training records, attendance, evacuation drills and required posted documents were reviewed. 1 medication was on site and in compliance. Cribs, mats and the diaper changing area were inspected. The children were observed playing during free time, reading books and interacting with the Provider. Interactions were positive. The Provider was observed sitting on the floor to read and working with children on their level. Age appropriate materials were available for the children. No violations were cited today.
