An unannounced monitoring inspection was completed on Wednesday, January 22, 2020 from approximately 2:30am to 4:15pm to determine the provider's compliance with licensing standards. During the inspection, there were 6 children present totaling 15 points in the care of one caregiver. Upon arrival, the children were observed resting in the designated area for childcare. Later, the children were observed waking up from nap, taking bathroom breaks and washing hands. The children were also observed playing with toys and eating snack. The provider was observed having positive interactions with the children. The designated areas for childcare were deemed appropriate and are equipped with age appropriate toys and materials to meet the needs of the children. During the inspection, the licensing inspector interacted with staff and children when appropriate. The bathroom, kitchen, and designated childcare areas were all inspected during today's inspection. The inspector observed the required postings. The first aid kit and emergency supplies, posted emergency contacts, fire and shelter-in-place drills were inspected. Five children's records, two caregiver records, one household member's record, and three pet records were reviewed today. There were no injury reports to review. The provider does not administer medications or provide transportation at this time. The most recent evacuation drill was documented on 01/09/2020. The most recent shelter-in-place drill was documented on 01/09/2020. There were no violations during today's inspection.
