Comments:
A subsidy health and safety inspection (SHSI) was completed on Thursday, December 19, 2019 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. The inspector arrived at 12:50 PM and concluded the inspection at 1:52 PM. Today, there were three children in attendance, totaling 9 points with two caregivers. During the inspection, children were napping. Children?s equipment, learning materials, indoor space, restroom, first aid kit and the nonmedical emergency supplies were inspected. The provider stated transportation is not provided at this time. The provider stated that medication is not administered at this time. Three children?s records, two caregiver records, fire drill, lockdown drill and shelter in place drill logs and all required postings were reviewed.

A licensing inspection was also conducted on this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection.

The provider was available for the inspection and was present at the exit interview at which time inspection findings were reviewed and an Acknowledgement of Inspection form was signed and left with the licensee. There were no violations cited at today?s SHSI inspection.

If you have any questions about this inspection, please contact the licensing inspector, Heather Dapper, at (804) 662-7014.
