Comments:
An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted today between 10:00 am and 12:30 pm. There were 6 children present (19 points) with 2 caregivers. The children were observed playing with blocks and singing and playing musical instruments. They were also observed during hand-washing and diaper change and eating lunch. The children all bring their lunches from home so the menu's varied. The physical plant, children's records, household members records, caregiver's records, evacuation plans, policies, attendance logs, evacuation logs, cribs, bottles and emergency supplies were inspected. There was an ample supply of toys, book and puzzles for the children to explore. The home was clean and well organized. Areas of non compliance were cited on the Violation Notice. If you have any questions, please contact Tanya.Johnson1@dss.virginia.gov or call me at 571.423.6392.
