54.1-3408 Provider must be MAT certified to administer prescription medication.
An unannounced monitoring visit was conducted today between the hours of 9:45 am through 11:30 am with the provider on site. There were 5 children (16 points) with the provider. A sample of 5 children's files and 3 staff/household member's files were reviewed. The children were observed in the following: toy play, bottle feeding, crawling and other organized activities. The site was clean, organized and contained a varied supply of developmentally appropriate materials. Provider was observed giving praise to the children, redirecting when needed and modeling appropriate interactions between the children. The physical space of the care area, evacuation drills, attendance records and the Emergency Preparedness Plan were reviewed. There were no medications were on site.
