An unannounced Subsidy Health and Safety Inspection (SHSI) was conducted today from 9:35am to 12:00pm in conjunction with a monitoring inspection (see that inspection report for details). The two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Two staff records were reviewed for documentation of the mandatory Virginia Preservice Training and current certification in First Aid and CPR and were in compliance. There are children currently enrolled with diagnosed food allergies and their records were reviewed for allergy care plans and were in compliance. The most recent lockdown drill was documented on 7/15/19.
