Technical Assistance:
Consulted on national background checks with center administration.

Comments:
An unannounced monitoring visit was conducted. All operating classrooms were in ratio with direct care staff. Rooms are well organized, supplied with age appropriate materials and display children's work through out the center. Snack today was graham crackers and apple slices. Observed children making smoothies and eggs, playing outside on the center playground area, diapering and hand washing prior to lunch as well as center activity time. Description: Based on medication review, one medication has expired. Evidence: Medication for child #1 expired 10/2014.

Plan of Correction: Center has contacted parent and new medication was bought into the center.

Standard #: 22VAC40-185-510-E
Description: Based on medication review, one medication was not labeled properly. Evidence: Medication for child #1 was not in the prescription box with identifying information (name)

Plan of Correction: Center has contacted the parent to bring in the prescription box.
