Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted in the Center on April 14, 2015. There were 24 children present. As reported by staff, 30 children are currently enrolled in the program. The children were observed in two classrooms with 2 staff members supervising the children's activities in each room. The children were observed as they participated in varied activities. The staff members were observed interacting with the children and redirected as needed. The children did not participate in outdoor play on the date of the inspection due to rainy weather. The LI also observed the lunch meal and dismissal at the end of the program day. A sample of records was reviewed. Prescribed medications and written authorization to administer were reviewed for 6 children. It was verified four staff members have current medication administration training. Documentation of the program's annual fire and health inspections was current. Findings of the inspection were reviewed at the exit, if you have any questions, please call 204-9625. The on-site inspection was conducted from approximately 10:40AM to 1:20PM. Thank you.
