Comments:
An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted on 4/1/15 between 1:00 and 4:00. The inspection was conducted with the site director. The inspector spoke with staff and children. The following staff/child ratios were observed: two staff with 18 children ages 3 to 5 years The children were observed having circle time with the teacher reading a story about the letter "G", hand washing after using the rest room, and packing up at the end of the day. One child was upset and crying and staff was observed offering comfort to the child. The class is planning a field trip to the Children's Museum tomorrow. School buses will be used and parents are also going. Snack this afternoon was oranges and milk. Snack was eaten in the classroom and the staff was observed cleaning the tables before and after. Health inspection ? 9/11/14 Fire inspection ? 9/8/14 Last fire drill 3/13/15 and a shelter-in-place drill was conducted on 1/9/15 All required documents were posted including license, licensing notices, menu, and evacuation information.
