Discussed the frog pond. Discussed nap.
36 children present with 7 staff during this renewal visit. The children are in two groups. The tadpoles are getting ready for nap and napping during the visit. The frogs are playing outside, weeding the berry patch and riding bikes. After being outside the children went in to nap and listen to stories. Interaction between staff and children were observed during the visit. The children had quesadillas for lunch today, with carrots and apples. Standard #: 22VAC40-185-60-A Description: Based on the review of 6 children's records, one child , child A is missing proof of ID. Plan of Correction: We will ask the parents for the information.
Standard #: 22VAC40-185-270-A Description: The center failed to ensure that equipment outside is maintained in a safe and clean condition. Evidence: Based on the inspection of the outside classrooms, the playground has a stage that has sides where the wood and nails have separated. Several of the plastic playground houses and play kitchens are not maintained in a clean condition. Plan of Correction: We will repair the stage and clean the dirty plastic houses .
Standard #: 22VAC40-185-510-N Description: Based on the review of medications at the center, the center failed to return the medication. Evidence: medication were not returned within 14 days of authorization expiring. Plan of Correction: We will return the medication.
