Comments:
An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted today from 10:20 am - 11:30am. There were 65 children directly supervised by 11 staff upon LI's arrival. The physical plant, children's records, evacuation drills, injury reports, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. There was an abundant supply of books, toys and age appropriate materials for the children. There was an adequate number of staff with current certification in MAT, CPR and First Aid, staff-to-participant ratios were in compliance. The center was clean and organized. The children were engaged in sensory table play, tubes. play dough and dramatic play set up as a camping area labeled "Beware of Bears".
