Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted with center director and center staff. There were 115 children present ranging in age from 4 months to 12 years. The children were engaged in a variety of activities including Play Doh, animals, outdoor play, home living play, puzzles, and blocks. Four medications for three children were reviewed and are in compliance. Two staff files were reviewed and are in compliance. The last health inspection was conducted 4/27/2015. Standard #: 22VAC40-185-280-D
Description: Based on observation, the facility failed to keep sanitizing materials physically separate from food and food service items. Evidence: in the school age art room, there was a spray bottle of bleach water in a cabinet with Cheez Its, cake mix, and food service items.

Plan of Correction: Removed food from storage cabinet and stored in a kitchen area. Moving forward the cleaning supplies will not be stored near food.
