Thank you for your time and assistance with the unannounced renewal inspection that was conducted on August 7, 2015. The on-site visit was conducted from 10:40 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. At the time of arrival there were 110 children in nine classrooms and in the care of 15 staff members. There were three additional staff members available to assist, if needed. The total enrollment for the program was 152 children. There were five staff members' records and seven children's records reviewed. There were nine staff members and five children interviewed. The medication and medication paperwork were reviewed for six children, and diaper ointment and parent authorization forms were reviewed for two children. There were no violations of the licensing standards observed on this date. Lunch was observed to meet the USDA guidelines and consisted of beef and cheese tacos with whole wheat tortilla, green beans, mandarin oranges, and milk. Due to inclement weather, outdoor play was not observed but the playground was checked. Choice time, art activities, table top games, infant care, infant feeding, diapering procedures, hand washing and bathroom procedures, lunch, and nap time were observed during the visit.
