Comments:
The licensing inspector conducted an unannounced mandated inspection from 10:20 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Two staff records were then reviewed at the main office. There were 29 children in care with ratios being met at all times. Three children's records were reviewed. Children were observed playing outside, washing hands, eating lunch, and having circle time. Violations:
Standard #: 22VAC40-185-280-D
Description: Based on observation, there were cleaning supplies located next to food being prepared for lunch and was not being stored in an area physically separate from food. Evidence: 1. The inspector observed dish soap and a spray cleaner being stored on a kitchen counter where food for lunch was being prepared.

Plan of Correction: Corrected during inspection. The cook is aware of the standard and will train all new kitchen staff about this standard.
