Discussed with the Director that she conducted active supervision training at the August staff meeting - reviewed the agenda with the Director.
Conducted an unannounced monitoring study with the Director, 23 staff, and 42 children. The children were having free play, eating lunch, and napping during the inspection. The ages of the children range from two months-old through four years-old. Four new staff records and five children's records were reviewed. Two medications were reviewed as well. The fire and health inspection is current and up to date. Start time: 11:30am End time: 1:30pm
Standard #: 22VAC40-185-270-A Description: Based on an observation, there was one area of a wall in disrepair. Evidence: There was a dent outside of the infant door, posing as a safety hazard. Plan of Correction: A work order was placed during the inspection by the Director.
