Technical Assistance:
Discussed the use of the FCPS medication form, It is not acceptable as it gives permission only for FCPS staff and SACC staff to give the medication. Parents need to provide the correct form from the CDC to the Dr. From this date forward,please only accept your schools medication form.

Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted from 9:00 am-11:00. At the time of entrance, 82 children were in care with 16 staff members present. Children were observed engaged in group activities and indoor gross motor play time. A selection of staff and children records, medications and other documents were reviewed. Standard #: 22VAC40-185-510-G
Description: Based on a review of medications, licensee has not maintained written authorization from parent and physician to administer a child's prescription medication. Child#1 has medication Benadryl at the center, there was no medication authorization form for the medication.

Plan of Correction: Medicine was returned to parent OTC- Benadryl.
