An unannounced monitoring visit was conducted on a Teacher Workday. Twenty nine children and four staff were present during the inspection. Children were observed making seashell animals and free play in the second room (chess, board games and kinexs). The theme of Global Connections is being explored with the center focusing on islands in the South Pacific such as Bora Bora and Tahiti. No medications were reported to be on-site. Emergency preparation for drills, supplies and trainings (first aid, CPR and MAT certifications) are current. Afternoon snack to be served was bagels and cream cheese. Lunch was bought from home. Standard #: 22VAC40-185-130-A Description: Based on record review, one of 10 files reviewed was missing documentation that the child has received the immunizations required by the State Board of Health. Evidence: Child #1 did not have an immunization record in the file documenting that the immunizations were up to date prior to attending the center. Plan of Correction: Not available online.
