Comments:
Thank you for your time and assistance with the unannounced monitoring inspection conducted today, October 20, 2015. The on-site visit was from 9:55 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. On this date, there were twelve (12) children in the care of three (3) staff members in three (3) classrooms. There were two (2) additional staff members available, as needed. The total enrollment for the program was twenty-eight (28) children. There were seven (7) staff members' records updated and four (4) children's records reviewed. There were five (5) staff members and two (2) children interviewed during the visit. There were no medications being administered or on-site at the time of the visit. The diaper ointments for four (4) children were reviewed, along with the authorization paperwork and application logs. Lunch met the USDA guidelines and consisted of chicken patties with buns, peas, applesauce, and milk. The theme for the week was My Town. First aid and safety equipment, documents, and required posted information were reviewed. Circle time, infant care, diapering procedures, hand washing and bathroom procedures, finger-painting, language art activities, lunch, story time, and nap time were observed during the visit.
