- Technical Assistance:
Technical assistance today included accessibility of hand sanitizer (in the school music room) that specifies on the label not to be accessible to children.
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today from 3:45 - 5 pm. There were 46 children present with four staff in two classrooms. Record keeping was organized and complete. I observed a smooth transition to after school choices; snack and settling in to board games, reading, building with legos and homework. If you have any questions, please contact me at email@example.com
Standard #: 22VAC40-185-270-A Description: During today's inspection, an area of the center was not maintained in a safe condition. Evidence: The entrance, which is a narrow space between the cubbies, was observed today to be blocked by three backpacks, posing a tripping hazard due to the limited space. A child was observed entering the room by jumping between the backpacks. Plan of Correction: We will make sure the area is kept clear.
Standard #: 22VAC40-185-540-E Description: A check of emergency supplies today found that the battery-operated radio was not operational today. Plan of Correction: We will get more batteries.
