Comments:
An announced inspection was begun today October 2, 2015 at the center in response to an allegation of physical abuse to a child in care while at the center. The allegation received in the licensing office on September 24, 2015 was reported to licensing by the center director. A parent reported to the director that they had seen a staff person holding their three year old child between their legs, then grabbing the child's arms while jerking them forward and backward in a violent motion. The licensing inspector along with representatives from two other agencies interviewed involved staff and other involved parties. Staff records were also reviewed. Based on a preponderance of evidence not being found from the interviews, the licensing inspector determines the complaint is invalid and no licensing standards are determined to be in noncompliance.
