An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today by the licensing inspector. The center director/owner was present and assisted with the inspection. Some but not all standards were checked today. Both buildings were inspected and all required information was posted. The children's art work was displayed throughout the center and a variety of age and stage materials are available to the children. The pool was checked and the gate was locked. There was no medication on site to be administered to children in care. The facility is also participating in the Responsive Classroom training program. Children were observed outside on the playground and when they returned inside. The group participated in circle time where they did sound effects while listening to the " Bear Hunt" story. This week the program is focusing on animals in the woods.
