Comments:
Arrived 10:40am Departed 12:25pm An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted today. Three children's files, and one staff file, were reviewed. Fourteen children were present with two classroom staff. The children were having circle time, making an art project, eating lunch and playing outdoors. An exit interview was conducted at the center after the inspection and at the main office on 11/19/15. Thank you for your cooperation. Please contact me if I may be of service. 276 608 3749

Standard #: 22VAC40-185-280-B
Description: Based on a tour of the classroom and adjoining kitchen area, the facility did not securely lock all hazardous substances. Evidence: In the kitchen area, the licensing inspector observed two lower cabinet shelves full of cleaning products including: Steramine tablets, Borax, Fabuloso, glass cleaner, liquid Lysol, Clorox, disinfectant wipes, aerosol air freshener, alcohol, dust free spray for computers and cans of spray paint, caulk. The door from the classroom to the kitchen was open upon arrival, then staff closed it and the cabinet doors were closed but not locked.

Plan of Correction: Classroom staff will insure that the doors to the cleaning cabinet are securely locked at all times.
