- Technical Assistance:
Consultation was given on medication logs and ensuring that all days of authorization are documented even if the parent does not return medication to the center. Recommended the new center director attend Phase II for CDC's offered at the Fairfax Licensing Office once a month with the exception of December. An unannounced monitoring visit was conducted. All rooms were in ratio with direct care staff. Inspection was began during rest time. Observed nap time, transition to PM snack and the outside play area. Records for medication and children were reviewed as well as two new staff. The program incorporates the Reggio curriculum into programming. Rooms are well equipped and reflcect children's work. Playground was being cleaned up and during the inspection.
