Comments:
The licensing inspector conducted an unannounced monitoring inspection December 22, 2015 from approximately 2:00pm to 4:45pm. The following ratios were observed with a total of 43 children present during the inspection:
Infants & Twaddlers- 5 children with 2 staff
Toddlers - 6 children with 2 staff
Twos - 10 children with 2 staff
Threes, Pre-K & School Age - 23 children with 3 staff

During the inspection, the Infants were observed playing on the floor, sitting in swings, and sleeping. The Toddlers were observed playing with blocks and trains, having a "snowball fight" and playing dress up. The Twos were observed playing with doctors' kits and baby dolls, playing with cars and having their diapers changed. The Preschool, Pre-K and School Age children were observed building with legos, playing with magnetic blocks, playing with Mr. Potato Heads, and playing with Play-doh and cookie cutters. Afternoon snack consisted of blueberries, yogurt and water. All areas of the center including classrooms, hallways, bathrooms and kitchen were inspected. The center was equipped with toys and supplies and items were available to the children. Playgrounds were not inspected due to weather conditions.

The following information was reviewed: emergency supplies, injury reports, fire and shelter-in-place drills, daily attendance, daily sheets, parent agreements, and staff training information. Medication is administered and medication and medication authorization forms were reviewed.
