40 children present with 3 staff during this renewal visit. The children were observed arriving from school, having snack doing homework and transitioning to activities and outside play. Interaction between staff and children observed. Today's snack was cinnamon buns and juice. The center has lots of supplies for the children to play with. Standard #: 22VAC40-185-70-A Description: The center failed to have emergency contacts for the three staff at the center. Evidence: Asked staff to locate staff emergency contact information but the paperwork could not be located, Two staff are new,One started two weeks ago and the supervisor has been here since mid January. The other staff has been her for years. Plan of Correction: I know we had them and we also gave them to the specialist, but I can not locate them at this time. We will fill out new forms.
Standard #: 22VAC40-80-120-E-2 Description: The most recent violation notice is not posted on the parent board or any other place for the public to view. Evidence: Based on the physical plant inspection and interviews with the staff the most recent violation notice can not be located. Plan of Correction: I will make sure we post it, I started at the beginning of January and I am not sure where the paperwork was at that time.
