Discussed the snack menu components with the Director.
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted with Head Start staff. The inspection began at 1030 and ended at 1:15. There were 82 children present with 11 staff. Children were observed at circle time, participating in music and movement, watching a short film , listening to a story, running on the playground and having lunch of milk, chicken nuggets, french fries and fruit. Children were very comfortable chatting with the Licensing Inspector and were actively participating in their activities. Reviewed medications for three children - complete Reviewed 4 staff files - complete Reviewed 8 children's files - complete Emergency escape drills and shelter in place drills are up to date as are Health and Fire Inspection.
