AN unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today. There are 27 children with 5 staff present at the time of the inspection. One medication and one child's file was reviewed. both were in compliance. Children were observed; actively involved in a variety of projects, washing hands, using the bathroom, and eating morning snack. Emergency escape drills, bathroom supplies, menu and cleaning supplies are in compliance. If you have any questions regarding this inspection, please contact me at 703-479-4678. Description: Based upon a review of documentation, the daily attendance sheet was not accurate. Evidence: The attendance sheet for the Fishes classroom showed 13 children present; however, there were 15 children present in the room.

Plan of Correction: It is the parent's responsibility to sign in their child. I will e-mail parents reminding them to please sign in. Staff will be reminded to follow up to ensure the sheet is correct.
