An investigation was begun in response to a self reported incident received in our office. Based upon multiple staff interviews, and written reports, the preponderance of evidence supports that allegation of forbidden actions. Staff A roughly handled a child while on the way back from the park, by squeezing his hand. If you have any additional questions regarding this inspection, please contact me at 703-479-4678.

Description: Based upon multiple staff interviews, one staff member roughly handled a child by squeezing the child's hand. Evidence: On March 23, 2016 as the 4 year old classroom was returning from the park, Staff A roughly handled a child by squeezing their hand. The child screamed and began to cry, stating that the teacher hurt them. When staff asked what had happened, Staff A responded "I am done with him".

Plan of Correction: Staff A has been terminated.
