Technical Assistance:

An unannounced inspection was made on 6/13/16 at approximately 5:00 p. m. in response to self-reported concerns received by our department on 6/8/16. The concerns were regarding inadequate staff supervision, unsanitary bathrooms, and inappropriate behavior guidance. The inspector observed teacher interactions with children in all rooms, and gathered staff-to-child ratios: Infants: 3 infants with 1 staff Toddlers: 3 toddlers with 1 staff Two Years: 8 children with 1 staff Three-Four Years: 7 children with 1 staff Pre-K (Four-Five Years): 6 children with 1 staff School-Age: 15 children with 1 staff The bathrooms were being sanitized at the time the inspector arrived. It was also explained that bathrooms are regularly cleaned twice through the afternoon at around 5:00 p. m. and again around 6:00 p. m. daily. Interviews were conducted with staff. Age and stage appropriate activities were observed at today's inspection in all classrooms. There were no violations cited regarding the concerns that were self-reported.
