Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today from 10:00-am - 12:00pm. Today when the inspector arrived the children were playing outside, working together to create structures, discussing life cycles and playing in dramatic play. Teacher's also provided children a sign in sheet for children waiting their turn for the sand table. Hand washing routines were observed after sensory play. The physical plant, staff records, children' records, children's medications records, evacuation drills, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. There was an abundant supply of books, toys, and materials for the children. There was an adequate number of staff with current certification in MAT, CPR and First Aid, staff-to-child ratios were in compliance. The school was clean and organized. An exit meeting discussing the findings of the inspection was completed at the time of inspection. If you have any questions regarding this inspection, please contact the Licensing Inspector. kelly.savittiere@dss.virginia.gov 703 479 4746
