Comments:
An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted on July 8, 2016. The assistant director was present. In the Infant Room there were 10 infants with 3 staff. One infant was sleeping in a crib, 2 were being held, 1 was in an infant seat, and 6 were playing on the floor. There were 10 children with 2 staff in the Toddler Room. The children were having Circle Time and singing. There were 14 children with 2 staff with the Early Preschool Group, 10 children with 1 staff with the Preschool Group, and 14 children and 2 staff with the Pre-K Group. All three groups were on the playground. Later they came inside and were observed in activity centers in their rooms. In the School Age Room there were 14 younger school age children with 1 staff and 16 older school age children with 2 staff. They were engaged in art activities. It was noted that 8 staff had MAT certifications and all staff had completed first aid and CPR as well as daily health observation training. A recommendation will be made to renew the license. Inspection began: 8:40 a.m. Inspection ended: 10:20 a.m.
