An unannounced renewal study was conducted on 8/25/2016 from 10:40 am - 11:30 am to review staff records and on 8/26/2016 from 9:15 am - 10:45 am to observe the facility. There were 15 children in care being supervised by 2 staff members. The children were observed participating in hand washing, story time, and outdoor play. Breakfast served today is bagel slice with cream cheese, orange juice, and milk. Two staff member records and two driver records were reviewed and in compliance. Eight children's records were reviewed and in compliance. The most recent emergency escape drill was conducted 8/24/2016. There were no medications on site however there are two staff members who are MAT (Medication Administration Training) certified. The flashlight, radio, and first aid kit were observed and in compliance. Standard #: 22VAC40-185-260-A Description: Based on observation of the most recent fire inspection it was determined that a fire inspection report was not provided to licensing annually. Evidence: The most recent fire inspection on file for the school was dated 9/15/2014. Plan of Correction: School administration has been calling to obtain the fire inspection report since the inspection was conducted in the fall of 2015. Administration will continue to call daily until the inspection report is provided.
