Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted from 11:00 am-1:30. At the time of entrance, 51 children were in care with19 staff members present. Children were observed during lunch, teeth brushing, and outdoor play time. Staff were celebrating receiving their NAEYC accreditation. A selection of staff and children records, medications and other documents were reviewed. The violations were reviewed with the center director. Standard #: 22VAC40-185-260-A
Description: Based on record review, the center shall obtain an annul fire inspection report. Evidence: The last fire inspection was dated 8/12/2015 and the Fire Permit expired 7/31/2016.

Plan of Correction: The director has repeatedly contacted the fire marshal office. The fire marshal said that the inspection can not be conducted until the permit has actually expired. An inspection is scheduled for 9/6/16.
