Comments:
Today an unannounced renewal inspection was conducted beginning at 11:30am. There were 48 children present today with 9 teachers and 2 administrators. Children were observed napping, having story time, and eating lunch. Fall craft projects were made this morning with apple cutouts. The facility is prepping to repaint the interior walls this weekend. Lunch today consisted of chicken, rice, cucumbers, cantaloupe and milk. This inspection, including the exit interview, ended at 12:40pm. Should you have any questions, please call.

Standard #: 22VAC40-185-280-B
Description: Based on direct observation, a hazardous substance stating "keep out of reach of children" was accessible to children. Evidence: At the sink in the 2 year old classroom where children wash hands there was a small bottle of hand sanitizer in reach of children.

Plan of Correction: This was removed during the inspection. We will lock away hazardous substances.
