Comments:
Thank you for your time and assistance during the unannounced monitor inspection conducted on September 12, 2016, between the hours of approximately 9:10 a.m. and 12:22 p.m. Eleven (11) children were enrolled and nine children were in the care of three staff members during the on site inspection. Two children's records and one staff member's record were reviewed. Posted information and available documents were observed/reviewed. The snack provided on this date was observed to comply with the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Child and Adult Care Food Program requirements and included blueberries, cheese and crackers. The facility was observed to be clean and supplied with a variety of age/stage appropriate learning and play materials/toys. Program observation was completed. Activities observed on this date included: indoor play; outdoor walk/wagon rides; music/songs; handwashing and diapering procedures; naptime and arrival/departure of children. Staff/child interactions, behavior guidance and daily routines/transitions were observed. Staff members were observed to be positive, patient and supportive in their interactions with the children in their care. Substantial compliance was maintained with the licensing standards; no violations were cited during this inspection.
