- Technical Assistance:
**Spoke with staff about expired medications in the medication box, and letting them know that the expired meds needed to be returned to the parents, an new medication needs to be obtained as soon as possible.
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today at 2:05pm. There were 32 (infants-5yrs.) directly supervised by 4 staff. The physical plant, 4 staff records, 6 children?s records, medications, evacuation drills, injury reports, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. Children were observed napping and awaking up from nap, cleaning of nap time equipment. There was an abundant supply of books, toys, and materials for the children. The center was clean and organized. Areas of non-compliance are identified in this report. Please complete the ?plan of correction? and ?date to be corrected? for each violation cited on the violation notice and return it to me within 10 calendar days from today. Evidence: Observed that the attendance sheet was kept on the just inside the initial facility doors, the front area that is accessible to the public and does not need a security code to enter. The attendance sheet had first and last names of children, and their attendance for the current day. Plan of Correction: Done

Evidence: Observed 3 bottles of shaving cream accessible to children on a low shelf in the 3 year old room, and a bottle of hand sanitizer accessible to children by chair, in the room next door.
