Thank you for your time and assistance with the unannounced monitoring inspection conducted October 5, 2016. The on-site inspection was conducted from 10:40 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. On this date, at the time of arrival, there were forty-three (43) children in three (3) classrooms and in the care of seven (7) staff members. There were a total of seventy-two (72) children enrolled in the preschool and before and after-school programs. There were no violations of the licensing standards observed during the visit. Five (5) staff members' records and four (4) children's records were reviewed. The medication and medication paperwork were reviewed for one (1) child. There were seven (7) staff members and three (3) children interviewed. The children and staff were enjoying the new gymnasium. Some items observed and reviewed during the visit included required posted information, documentation of emergency evacuation and shelter-in-place drills, injury reports, updated emergency preparedness plan, indoor large motor activities, circle time, story time, flannel board stories, outdoor play, small group center time, art activities, hand washing and bathroom procedures, lunch, and nap time.
