Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted on October 7th 2016 between 8:30am and 9:30am. There were 33 children in the direct care of 4 staff members. The center was having a pirate day. Children were observed creating pirate paper dolls, playing electronics, preparing for snack, and building structures. Staff were observed to be consistently engaged with the children during the inspection. The center has plenty of activities, games, and resources for the children to do and use. A sampling of children's records, the evacuation drills, a sampling of medications, the attendance records, they physical plant and supervision were observed and inspected. There were no violations observed during this inspection. If you have any questions please contact me at 703-554-4995 or at derek.acosta@dss.virginia.gov
