Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted with the director beginning at 9:45 AM and ending at 12:45 PM. There were fifty-six children in care ages ranging from three months to four years old. The children were observed during free play, instructional time, and playing with play dough. The children were observed during lunch time which consisted of macaroni and cheese, hotdogs cut in small, non-round pieces, salad, oranges, and milk. Nine children's records and four staff records were reviewed and determined to be in compliance. One medication was reviewed and determined to be in compliance. The first aid kit, flashlight, and weather-band radio were in compliance. If there are any questions please contact Shawanda Henderson at (540) 216-1434 or s.henderson@dss.virginia.gov.
