Be sure to have an evacuation drill a for each of he different programs (BS, Preschool and AS) throughout the year. Reviewed pre-service subsidy training and link to childcareva.com.
An unannounced monitoring visit was conducted today. One child was present with one staff. The program is new this September and is still working to make the community aware of the preschool program being offered at the location. Reviewed staff and child record, drills, medication (none on site), nutrition and physical space. Areas of non-compliance are identified in this report. Standard #: 22VAC40-185-140-A Description: Based on record review, a child was missing a physical record within 30 days of enrollment. Evidence: Child #1 is missing a physical record and was enrolled 9/6/2016. Plan of Correction: Document was requested and received.
Standard #: 22VAC40-185-210-A Description: Based on record review, a staff member does not have the documentation needed to verify qualifications as a lead teacher,=. Evidence: Staff #1 is missing transcripts to meet qualifications of lead teacher. Plan of Correction: Transcripts have been verified on-line and official copy has been requested.
Standard #: 22VAC40-185-560-G Description: Based on observation, a lunch box was not labeled. Evidence: Child #1'2 lunch box did not have the current date. Plan of Correction: lunch boxes will be labeled and dated at sign-in.
