An announced monitoring visit was done today December 1, 2016 beginning at 10:15 AM and ending at 3:00 PM. There were sixteen children present today. The children were observed during free play, painting and working on puzzles. Another class was listening to music, working with play dough and cutting with scissors. Lunch was observed as well as nap. A sample of children and staff files were reviewed. There were no medications on site today. The inspector reviewed the violation and corrective action with the compliance officer today. If you have an further questions, please contact your inspector.
Standard #: 22VAC40-185-70-A Description: Based on a review of staff files the center did not obtain all of the required information for employed staff. Evidence: 1. During the inspection the inspector reviewed four staff files and staff # 1 & 3 did not have the educational requirement verified. Plan of Correction: The compliance officer indicated she would obtain the needed information from the staff. This will be done in the future for the day care staff.
