Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted on February 28, 2017. Upon arrival in the Center at approximately 2:30PM, the LI observed 26 children in care. The children's ages ranged from three to five years. The children were observed in two classrooms. Five staff members were observed supervising the children's activities. There are 36 children currently enrolled in the program; the Center's daily census was 32. The children were served an afternoon snack. The children participated in various activities which included art and play dough. Staff were engaged with the children. Dismissal procedures were observed at the end of the program day. Documentation of the Center's annual fire and health inspections was current. A sample of 3 children's records and 1 partial staff record was reviewed. Prescribed medications were observed. Several staff members have completed medication administration training (MAT) Each building was supplied with a stocked first aid kit. A sample of minor injury/accident reports was reviewed, all required information was documented. Violations from the October inspection were verified as corrected. There were no observed violations today. The inspection concluded at 4:30PM. Thank you.
