Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted in the Center on March 6, 2017. There were 13 children present with two staff members. The children's ages ranged from three years to five years old. As reported, 16 children are currently enrolled in the program. Documentation of the Program's annual fire and health inspections was current. A sample of 3 children's record was reviewed. One prescribed medication was observed in the Center. Documentation of the practiced emergency drills was reviewed and was current. The children were observed during outdoor play, the children played with soccer balls, hula hoops, and sidewalk chalk. The children were also observed during hand washing procedures and the lunch meal in the school cafeteria. After lunch, the children returned to their classroom for their scheduled nap/rest time. Additional outdoor time was provided to the children in the afternoon for play. The staff members were engaged with the children. A discussion was held with the PD regarding the exits used for emergency evacuation. The posted map will be revised to indicate the primary and secondary means of egress. The violations from the September, 2016 were verified as corrected. There were no observed violations during this inspection date of March 6, 2017.
