An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted today from 10:30am-11:50am. There were 29 children directly supervised by 5 staff. The physical plant, 5 children?s records, 5 medications, evacuation drills, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. Children were observed participating in group play, baking cupcakes, playing active video games, and creating art projects. Hand-washing procedures were also observed. There was an abundant supply of materials for the children. The center was clean and organized. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the Violation Notice.

Standard #: 22VAC40-185-140-A Description: Based on children's record review, one of four records checked did not contain a physical examination by or under the direction of a physician. Evidence: Child #4 has Part I of the physical completed by the parents. Parts II and III to be completed by the physician was not in the record. Plan of Correction: The site supervisor will ask the parents to obtain parts II and III.
