Comments:
An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted with the assistant director beginning at 1:00 PM and ending at 4:00 PM. There were seventy three children, ages ranging from six months to five years old, in care during the inspection. The infants were observed playing with manipulatives and soft blocks. Two infants were observed sleeping in their cribs. The older children were observed during napping on their cots. One child was observed working with outside agency service provider. Five children's records were reviewed and in compliance. Four staff records were reviewed and in compliance. Seven medications were reviewed and in compliance. There are six staff members who are MAT (Medication Administration Training) certified. The first aid kit, flashlight, and weather-band radio were observed and in compliance. The most recent emergency escape drill was documented as March 30, 2017. The most recent shelter in place drill was documented as February 28, 2017. The most recent lock down drill was documented as March 31, 2017. The most recent fire inspection was documented as January 7, 2016 and the most recent health inspection was documented as May 5, 2016. Description: Based on a review of documentation it was determined the facility did not have a current annual fire inspection. Evidence: The most recent fire inspection was dated January 7, 2016.

Plan of Correction: The center will contact the Fire Marshal to have annual fire inspection completed.
