The licensing inspector conducted an unannounced other inspection on February 15, 2017 from approximately 12:40 pm to 3:37 pm in reference to self-reported incident on December 19, 2016 received by the center. As a result of the self-reported incident, there was a joint investigation involving the Department and law enforcement which stemmed from concerns of inappropriate language used by a child. The local authorities initiated and took the lead in this investigation and conveyed findings to the licensing inspector in efforts to complete a thorough investigative process. During this inspection, the licensing inspector completed interviews with the staff to include the Director, observations of classroom interactions between children and the staff, and reviewed children's records.
