Comments:
An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted today from 8:30am-9:45am. There were 8 children directly supervised by 2 staff. The physical plant 4 children?s records, evacuation drills, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. No medications were present during today's inspection.Children were observed participating in group play, reading books, coloring, and working in workbooks. Staff records were reviewed for medication training, and first aid and CPR certifications. Staff background checks and qualification reviews are conducted off site annually. A substitute teacher was on site today and the inspector observed the site director orienting her to information pertinent to the specific site and reviewing the substitutes training record. There was an abundant supply of materials for the children. There was an adequate number of staff with current certification in MAT, CPR and First Aid, as well as DHO training. Staff-to-child ratios were in compliance. The center was clean and organized.
