The vendor agreement was reviewed with the program director.
Licensing Inspector arrived at 11:00am and departed at 3:15pm to conduct a Subsidy Health and Safety Inspection. At the time of the tour there were 50 children, ages five-months - through 12 years, in care with seven staff. Children were observed during morning program time, outdoor play and nap. The sample size was six children and ten staff records.
Standard #: VENDSUB-000-031-B-1 Description: Based on interview, the vendor failed to ensure that evacuation procedures shall include procedures to address reuniting children with parents after an emergency. Evidence: The center director stated that the emergency plan for the center lacked reunification procedures. Plan of Correction: Reunification procedures will be added to the center emergency plan within 30 days.
Standard #: VENDSUB-000-031-B-3 Description: Based on interview, the vendor failed to ensure that the emergency preparedness plan for the center shall include lockdown procedures. Evidence: The center director stated that lockdown procedures were not included in the current emergency plan for the center. Plan of Correction: Lockdown procedures will be written and added to the center emergency plan within 30 days.
